For many people, the younger they look the better they feel and the better they feel the happier they are. Unfortunately, ageing is something we can't change but we can change how we deal with it. Our skin gives away our age, especially on the face when those fine lines and deeper wrinkles start to appear. We suddenly notice that our skin has lost some of it's youthfull complexion, appears much drier and is less firm leaving our skin feeling much more fragile. The glands that produce oil (sebacious) become less active and the skin becomes much drier and as it loses fat it looks less plump and smooth. Most of us would like to retain that youthful look but wouldn't consider going under the Cosmetic Surgeon's knife so what are the options available to us?

The most well known brand of anti ageing injectables is BOTOX™. BOTOX™ is a muscle relaxant that is mainly used around the eyes and on the forehead to improve the appearance of those frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines. BOTOX™ can also be used on the jaw line and under the neck to improve the contour of the face. By relaxing the muscles in the frown lines you will look less tired and although people may not notice that you have had a treatment they will certainly notice that you look more relaxed and youthful. Tiny insulin needles are used to inject BOTOX™ and it feels no more than a little 'pin prick'. The treatment itself is over quite quickly, it's the pre-treatment consultation that takes more time to ensure you are aware of all the options available to you. The pre treatment consultation is free of charge with our medical practitioner who is also a trainer on advanced injectable techniques. This give you the opportunity to have any questions you may have answered as well as a chance to discover the full range of treatments available. These treatments include;

• The lines around the side of the eyes, also known as crow's feet.
• The deeper lines on the forehead.
• The frown lines, in between the eyes at the top of your nose.
• Medium to deep lines between the bottom of the nose and the corners of your mouth.
• Volume can be put back in to the face, especially the cheeks and can also improve the appearance of the most visible folds and lines.
• The lip and mouth area can be enhanced or given a more defined shape as well as lifting the drooping corners of the mouth.
• The jaw line can be lifted with a series of small injections which will define it's shape.
